End-to-end mortgage lending automation
Mortgage lender · Canada
The challenge
Mortgage applications moved between origination, underwriting and servicing systems through manual re-keying and email hand-offs. Volume spikes created backlogs, errors and compliance exposure, and the lender had no automation platform or governance in place.
What we did
- Ran the RPA vendor selection and business case, landing on Blue Prism.
- Produced the process definition (PDD) and solution design (SDD) documents for the lending workflow.
- Designed and stood up the Blue Prism infrastructure, credential management and environments.
- Developed, tested and deployed the bots, then provided production support and hand-over to the client's team.
Outcome
A governed automation platform running the core lending process end to end, with full audit trails for regulators and a documented operating model the lender now extends to new processes on its own.
ERP process automation for a steel fabricator
Steel fabrication company · Acumatica ERP
The challenge
A growing fabricator ran its business on Acumatica but still depended on manual entry, spreadsheet workarounds and after-hours data clean-up between sales, production and finance. Leadership needed the ERP to carry the load without a disruptive re-implementation.
What we did
- Fit-gap analysis of current processes against Acumatica's capabilities.
- Governance model and concept of operations (ConOps) for the automation program.
- Infrastructure set-up and Blue Prism development to automate the ERP-centred workflows.
- User acceptance testing led with the client's operations and finance teams.
Outcome
Manual ERP data entry and reconciliation replaced by governed automation, with the business able to grow order volume without adding administrative headcount.
Accounts-payable invoice and receipt digitization
Finance operations · Microsoft Power Platform
The challenge
Invoices and expense receipts arrived by email and paper, were keyed by hand, approved over email threads and filed in shared drives. Month-end close was slow, approvals were untraceable and finance had no live view of what was outstanding.
What we did
- Built the end-to-end solution on Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate flows for capture and approval routing, Power Apps for the finance team, Power Pages for vendor submission, SharePoint for the document store.
- Designed the approval matrix, exception handling and audit logging with the finance owners.
- Delivered Power BI dashboards for AP ageing, approval cycle time and spend by vendor.
Outcome
A single digital AP workflow from receipt to payment with every approval recorded, a vendor self-service channel, and real-time reporting – built entirely on licences the organization already owned.
Intelligent claim-dispute automation for a U.S. health insurer
Major U.S. health insurer · UiPath
The challenge
Independent Dispute Resolution cases arrived as unstructured emails and PDF packages that had to be read, classified, routed through negotiation and arbitration stages, and reconciled against accounts-payable vouchers and payments. The volume and regulatory timelines made manual handling unsustainable.
What we did
- Architected the solution as UiPath Solution Architect: intelligent document processing with UiPath IXP for email and PDF intake, extraction and classification.
- Automated routing of cases through negotiation and arbitration workflows with human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Integrated AP voucher creation and payment-status tracking so finance and claims teams work from the same record.
Outcome
Unstructured dispute intake turned into a structured, auditable pipeline that meets regulatory deadlines, with specialists focused on the exceptions rather than the paperwork.
